Tavor in 6.8 SPC?

So with hunting season upon us, and my distain of Canadian Gun Laws how difficult /expensive would it be to turn a Tavor into 6.8 SPC. Could I use the same mags? Also how hard is it to get the ten round AR mags here?
 
mags are not hard to find almost all gun stores have emm.....wolverine , Lanz shooting supplies, ellewood, P&D..... I don't know tho if you can hunt with a 10 round , I'm pretty sure you cant but will soon find out??? watch lol....

6.8 spc huh Call DLASK if anyone can do it ...its them
 
Charles Daly is supposedly doing a 6.8 Tavor in the USA. Cant be too hard to get the Canadian model converted once someone does all the initial legwork
 
If there is a 6.8 pistol AR in Canada that is readily available then it could take 6.8 pistol mags. If I could get a 6.8 conversion for the Tavor I would be on it like a fat kid on a smartie.
 
CD is reported to plan to display their US made TAVOR at SHOT, and hope to get the first rifle out of the door around the NRA show.
 
let me know if its legal to hunt with a 10 rd lar 15 mag.

If that type 97 ever comes in I want to coyote hunt with it, on foot. 10 rds would be sweet.

None of this dead- hiker stuff for me. 10 > 5.
