Tavor mags used with AR's

Just curious if the Tavor IMI mags that CanAm sells work well with AR's. Any troubles with loading rounds, chambering..etc. Can they be used with mag couplers? Any pics would be great. $25 is a great price.

They work fine with my AR15 SP1.They seem to be very well assembled and of very high quality.No problems at all with the three I have and more on order.

Good to hear. I've got some on order as well. Hoping they can be coupled with my CAA mag couplers.

These are good mags and an excellent price. You won't be sorry. The rivet is a little tight in mine though... it takes a good whack to set them with the bolt closed.

They do not work well with my Armalite. Same as mentioned above, having problem with closing the bolt and sometimes create feeding issues. In contrast, the original Armalite supplied mag has always worked very well.

is armalite lowers picky about what mag is used? looking ot purchase some mags but have no idea what type

My lower is an Armalite as well and was going to get some Tavor mags for it.

I don't think that the problem is with the Armalite lower, since the original mag supplied works just well.
I suspect that the problems lie with the IWI antiquated follower design and very stiff spring. Initially, I suspected the incorrect pinning; but even loading 4 rounds instead of 5, I was getting loading issues.
Keeping in mind that the problem is fortunately intermittent. It may go away with the mags breaking in. I will also try later to disassemble and polish the lips.
