Tavor QD sling

I see advertised on the US Tavors they have QD sling mounts, but ours has a different one. Is it possible to order those QD mounts somewhere? Checked Zahal and Brownells, did some Googling, but I couldn't locate them. Any folk round here know where I could source some?

QD cups wont fit in our polymer molded bodies without doing some drilling to remove polymer. Your best bet for single point will be a GHW Flex port cover with the QD cup end at the farthest forward end.

For 2 point, put the Flex on with the QD cup the the rear of the rifle, then put a magpul railed QD cup right above the forward factory sling mount location. An alternate further forward QD cup can be had if you are using a MI XL handgaurd you can use a Novenske Keymod QD cup.

I thought the mesa tactical remmy 870 qd mount fit or something to that effect.

You can mount it through the hole, but the QD cup (feale end) stays out side of the polymer body. I find that less then ideal.

Take a QD swivel (male end) and try and put it in the Tavors rear sling hole, it wont even fit let alone the female cup.

If there isn't a neat, clean method to replace that forward sling mount with a QD mount, I'm just going to buy another Magpul RSA QD mount and put it on the top rail. Since I'm curious about weight, that rail is attached securely enough to bear the weight of the rifle and optics for prolonged periods, is it not?

Got it on my'n too. Works great. An H&K hook or mash hook does the job well on the front sling mount. H&K hook's are a tight fit for that one but it doesn't mar up the plastic sling mount as bad as the mash hook.

That is more or less a perfect fit? With no modification?

I use the hk hook from blue line and the Mesa 870 qd. No mods necessary works perfect.

I have the mesa tactical on my tavor also. It fits great the only Issue is it sticks out a little further than i would like but it has not really snagged on anything in 2 years of use

I am working on a project pertaining to sling mounts, sit tight. It will require modification, but it should be mild.
