For all you Tavor shooters out there, Im wondering what bullet weight it seems to like the best. with the 1-7 twist, I konw it will shoot the heavy stuff, but will it still stabalize the 55gr?

I hit some gophers last year with Igman 55gr and UMC at ranges under 50 yards. Other than that I haven't had much luck with anything smaller than a paint can at 100 yards. It's really hard to test accuracy with the Mepro sight.

Ya I think alot of people are taken that sight off from what I can gather.

optics

I just got the 999 rail and am quite happy with it. I have a new 1-4x26 that I will be mounting very soon. My problem is that the rear site sits so high and I need to cantilever the scope forward to get the right eye relief. I am actually wondering if the 999 rail is forward enough or if I need special rings to get this scope on. Either way I should have it figured out in a week or so. Hope I dont just throw money at this project in vein.
