Tavor Sight Riser

Anyone else find optics and mounts made for the AR don't sit quite high enough on the Tavor/X95 rail? Does a riser like the one Midwest Industries makes for the Tavor solve the problem?

Hey thanks for posting that. I was literally wondering the same thing.

My X95 is not bad, but optic would better with a slight boost. That MI looks like the ticket. (I've got an Elcan... So rings aren't an option.)

I find that lower 1/3rd mounts are comfortable on a Tavor, but absolute mounts are too low. If possible, stick with the correct mount instead of adding a riser.
