Tavor tar21 left hand conversion.... How to check headspacing? ...and is it important

I'm lefty and sick of having brass come out an inch from my face...

I bought a left hand bolt. I just want to change the rear of the gun to lefty. (So Bolt and ejection port)
The charging handle is fine where it is...
I bought a new bolt from Tavor but ran into a few people online saying I should check the head spacing...

Could not checking it lead to some serious issues?? or can i just do the conversion and fix If I have malfunctions down the road...
(could it damage the gun or my face?) lol

From videos it looks like it's only a 5 minute job...

It will be fine without checking the headspace.

I didn't check mine when I did the conversion. It's not necessary.

Install the LH bolt and go shooting. Mine has been problem free from the start. RH or LH bolt.
