OK, so we have all been watching the SHOT show progress, Geissele has announced the drop in trigger pack for the Tavor - Where do you see the Canadian retail price coming in and when will they be in stock?

My answer...

Hi, I met with IWI's Tavor engineer and with Bill Geissele on this. Basically, the US trigger pack will fit the CDN gun, the CDN trigger pack will not fit the US gun. IWI Engineering states the GA trigger should absolutely work in the CDN rifle. Should will turn to will as we are working with IWI and GA to 'officially' certify this. They will be certified by IWI prior to the triggers becoming commercially available regardless.

Here is a question, how many people own Tavors in Canada?

These should be released in July. We will have them in Canada first.

Love my Tavor, not sure I would spend that much on a trigger, works fine with the spring mod on standard trigger, not going to 1,000 yard bench rest with it. $500.00 no.

I said $400 estimate based on US $350, not $500.

To each his own though. If you like the standard trigger you are already set. Once they come out hopefully you will have a chance to try one in person.

400? That's a big nope for me hell 300 is too much. I love my tavor but not that much.

there isn't much you can do to the tavor so it is nice that we are finally getting some accesories for it, should also shut up people who bad mouth the tavor's trigger.
