Tavor Vs ACR. Which one would you keep?

I honestly dont know. I have both now and love both for what they are, which is 2 very different platforms that acomplish different goals. I would say your use would/should be the biggest deciding factor. I am debating selling one or the other as well, but can't bring myself to do it...

I will put my .02 in and say Tavor. I am handling them right now, the ACR actually feels a lot like my old XCR-L, and basically has the same ergos minus the charging handle. The Tavor feels well balanced, and well designed for a battle rifle (damn near perfect). I have a soft spot for bullpups as well. The advantage of accuracy of the ACR is a little lost on me personally. This is due to the fact that I could just use a bolt gun for precision shooting. I also like the balance a bullpup brings for hiking/running around on the farm to get them pesky yotes.

Ok I actually do own and love both and although my wife would probably chop my d!ck off I would only keep the ACR and sell the tavor.

If you were to ask her this question she'd say sell the ACR keep the tavor.
Out of all my guns the Tavor is actually the ONLY rifle she loves to shoot and keeps on wanting to shoot. That says a lot, women are very picky.

That being said I'll never sell my Tavor anyways so, like never, ever...

You never know, the aliens might come, and Ill need her to shoot a rifle...

Seems to me like an apples vs. oranges question. They are two different animals (fruits?) each with their owns strengths & weaknesses and very few similar characteristics to compare.

That is exactly what makes the question interesting. Seeing what people prefer. This is just one of those "for fun" discussions.

I'm assuming the question is hypothetical then? And you are keeping both?
I agree with your own assessment. I don't own an ACR but had the XCR. I find our traditional non- restricted black rifles a real pain with carrying as they are too long. I'm 6' tall and still find the barrel hits the ground or my ankles when using a single point.
As accurate as the ACR is suppose to be, it still ain't no target rifle. For what these guns are made for, the Tavor is still better balanced and more fun to shoot. For a traditional mag forward platform, I go AR all the way. For sh#ts amd giggles, the Tavor has my vote!

Not too sure a single point sling is the right sling to go with if you are not holding onto your rifle. I dont think there is actually any good points to using a single point sling aside for vehicle operating.
Walking around 2 point sling
In a vehicle 1 point sling
But thats another discussion.
