Tavor vs Kel Tec RFB

i have a few of each...i prefer the Tavor...

the RFB does make a pretty cool little hunting rifle, but that is about the only area where the RFB has the edge.

if the Tavor wasn't available with a left hand bolt, it would probably lose out there as well.

Excluding calibre differences, Tavor all the way. It's a rifle built for combat. The RFB is not.

You'll never have a single issue with a Tavor. I have one of the first rifles in the country and I have never had a single problem.

which one would I choose..... hmmmm.........

For sure when they get available again, i will add a Tavor to my herd, maybe after getting a RFB ... Or before... JP.

Tavor is a much better rifle. Especially when it comes to reliability. The RFBs gas system needs to be tuned to different ammos where as the Tavor fires everything you can feed it.

The purpose of the adjustable gas system on an RFB is not to "tune it to different ammos" -

It is like our old FN gas system - to keep the gun firing when the system is fouled after extended use or from using battlefield aquired dirty burning ammo.

I dont believe the Tavor has that feature -

Hard comparison there, the only thing they share is the bullpup design, sorry they share two things...they both put huge smiles on you face. The RFB I ended up selling but only because I wanted a XCR-M and my friend already has a RFB so we just trade off now and then. The RFB is such a great package especially if your hunting being its so small. I personally dont hunt just plink away so in that regard the Tavor was kept because of its available to use LAR mags and cheaper ammo.
