So... Just got my taxes done and I'm getting a fairly healthy return this year. I'm itching to start a new build. I don't really have any parts laying around as I've only got one factory AR in my collection. My goal is to build a precision style AR to sit on the bench with when I'm tired of thumping myself with my .308 distance gun. It would be really appreciated if you gentlemen would lend me some suggestions on where to start as far as: a lower, lower parts kit, buffer tube, stock, and trigger as well as any other necessary goodies to get the bottom end on the road. I would like to assemble parts of decent quality and please keep in mind I'm going for tight groups. I realize that the lower may not be the biggest contributing factor to accuracy but all the same I like to know that it's my fault when I blow a grouping. Any input is appreciated and if you suggest a part it would be awesome if you could identify a source from which I could order that part. I hope to reap the benefits of the vast knowledge we've got floating around this forum. Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.
