Just curious for future reference if anybody knows about the costs? Curious to the cost of
a.) Making a bear fur jacket? :D
b.) Bearskin rugs?
c.) Any deerskin products?

It seems like such a waste to throw away unused animal fur that can be made into lifetime products. But to each his own. Anybody know the costs and difficulty of the products? Is it worth it?

I just this spring had a nice black bear made into a throw rug, just tanning no felt, head or feet. Great job done by the young guy $10 sq ft.

Look up "Heads above the rest" in the BC hunting regs. He's got an add.

You could come see it when you come to get your shottie!!! :runaway: JK

Reminds me of the movie dumb and dumberer if anyones seen it. Hehe polarware.
(i mean no offence, I think it would be cool to have a bear skin coat :) )

Polarware...thats a classic:) ...hehehe. I think a bear hide coat would be awesome.

I had a bear done up, head, paws, no felt, no eyes, $350, the full Monty(RUG) with eyes and felt would have been $650, very large bear.

Me too! But I think it might be too thick? Ideally I'd love to have the paws intact for mittens and the head for a "hoodie" so I would have the entire bear emsemble for a night on the town! :D
