well i just spent the last 3hrs over at Taylors house and all I have too say is WOW , for anyone who's been there you know what Im talking about. but you guys should see some of the guns there it's just amazing. he's got so many beautiful rifles and pistols it makes me wanna cry lol. there was a solid ebony wheel lock pistol he made that I got to look at and dozens of rifles and pistols and swords etc etc. my dad and i whent over to talk to him about getting into black powder and he gave us lots of good advice and we learned ALOT. sry no pictures guys lol but he said he was having a yardsale sometime soon cause he's cleaning out his shop so there should be some interesting goodies at that yardsale eh lol.

his guns are alittle out of my leauge right now as his cheapest he could make one for would be around $2500 he said. but it's something to strive for anyway. he recomended I get the lyman great plains as a good starter rifle and he says a guy down in the states somewhere makes really good replacement locks for them for around $120 so you can upgrade it if you want a better rifle.

anyway im just excited about it all and thought id share my night with you guys.

Kyle.

I had a Sapergia Long rifle, the person he built it for had it over 20 yrs and never shot it  It's a beautiful rifle, Taylor does nice work.
I let my brother-in-law shoot it, unfortunately he shot it short started and bulged the barrel about 6" from the breech  I replaced it with a Green Mountain barrel, after I finished it I asked Taylor if he would autograph the barrel, shipped it up to Prince George for his inspection and perusal, came back with his name on the barrel very generous of him.
Taylor also built the Robinson hawkens that are highly sought after. My sons have #92 and #138 ? and I've got #90.
Maybe you could convince him to have his garage sale in the Equiptment Exchange :D :D
Cheers nessy.
