TC Encore Pro Hunter

you can get different measures of accuracy from any rifle, whether they be muzzle loader or center fire. even the same make and model may have slight differences in how accurate they are. for hunting purposes any rifle out of the box can be dialed in and be easily accurate enough. if your talking target shooting, then more precision may be needed when setting up and sighting in your rifle.

not really.the same principals apply. if anything i find the single shots may be a little better than the rest ,out of the box and once they're dialed in.that's just my opinion of course there's probably many others who disagree.any TC's that i've shot and test fired were one damn fine rifle, whether it be muzzle loader or center fire.

Have a T/C contender Carbine with .223...30/30...357 Maximum scoped 21 inch brls.
With handloads all will shoot under an inch at 100 yds. The Encore should be as good or better if you build up good loads.

I was talking about the accuracy of this single-action rifle vs a bolt-action rifle . Doesn't matter of the type of caliber.

Thanks

It varies from brand to brand alec. For instance H and R break open single shots have never been touted as accurate rifles that I have heard. Ruger no 1 single shots seem to vary a bit but can be very accurate.

As far as the Pro Hunter goes IIRC veteran member BIGREDD from this site was quite pleased with his and posted some pretty impressive targets.

I have a tc prohunter in 30.06. it shoots .4" groups at 100yards with 168 barnes triple shocks over imr4350... I still think I can get better results but need to get some different powders to try out!
