Who has one of these guns? What do you think of it? How do they shoot?

I am thinking of getting one in either 243Win/280Rem/300Win Mag combo or 25-06Rem/30-06/338Win Mag combo to hunt everything from vermin to deer/elk/moose/sheep/mountain goats/black & grizzly bears.
 
I love mine, they point and shoot great.

I have a 25-06 and a 223 barrel for mine so far. Hoping to add a .308 this year.

BTW there is one on the EE for sale for $800 NIB!

I have a 7mm magnum that I just bought, have put a box through it and it seems to be a dandy.

I love the fact that you can switch calibres in 10 minutes
 
I have barrels in 7mm-08 and 338 Federal. The 7mm is a tack driver and the 338 is accurate as well. Did the trigger spring, lock up spring, oversize hinge pin, cheap fixes to make accurate.
 
so the only mods you did are the trigger spring,lock up spring and a oversize hinge pin. how much did all that cost? where did you get it done? i may be getting a pro hunter and would get the same done

I love mine even tho its not good for my favorit hunting spot all close brush and swamp i take it every time it just fits me... i started off with 22250 and 308 but sold the 308 for a 7mm i really wanted a 338 i dont see having more then 2 calibers for it a varmit and big game but its nice to be able to swap them over even tho a new one is over priced...over all great gun probably the best single shot hunting rifle out there

$80 bucks and about 4 hours worth of my time. Search Mike Bellm on the internet, he has all the info, installation instructions and parts you could possibly want on the TC.
 
Not a fan of the O/S hinge pin. IMO unnecessary, and why would you mess with the factory reciever pin hole? My .223 does MOA with just the trigger spring installed, factory Win white box!

With the larger hinge pin it takes the slop out of assembly, most noticeably in mine was side to side. The pin is still undersize from the hole so there was no messing with the hole, it just takes up more clearance.

Having had the original springs and pin, then upgrading I can say with certainty that between these two components you get the feel that you have a quality built item in your hands. It locks up with authority and it sounds better.

For $40 bucks and an hour how can you go wrong?
 
I have the Endevour 209x50. I replaced the hammer spring & lock spring. I had a O/S hinge pin but now TC has a pin than tightens up by use of a hex (allen) head screw on either side. This removes any play outta the hinge action. I did all the M. Bellm trigger work on my ohter Encore and yeah it broke the trigger down to 2-3lb pull. Any less and you can physically push the hammer with your thumb to break the sear......not good!
 
I've got a .338 Federal.
My hinge pin was getting sloppy, as in, it would fall out. So I made my own @ 0.4377" tap in fit.
I think the TC over sized pin is .4375 which is half a thou over. So not a big deal. Although I am kind of reluctant to remove the pin for a barrel swap.

X2 on the 338 Federal barrel and although its not the biggest kicker the bigger the kick the more that this play comes into play with regards to accuracy.
