TC now lists an R55 "Sporter" ... 22 cal Semi-auto heavy barrel with a a laminated stock. The pic looks much like the Benchmark, but with a 20" barrel. Anybody seen or tried one?
I have the tc classic which is the older version of the r55 sporter I think. Its all steel and wood (no aluminum or synthetic). The barrel is threaded into receiver and has a match chamber I believe. Its very reliable and very accurate.
