Teaching my son to shoot - with which rimfire rifle ?

I got my daughter a Henry Mini bolt this yr for her 10th birthday. I believe its the shortest .22 out there which is perfect for my daughter since she is so petite. It shoots well, she luv's it, and as mentioned before, I also put up different sized balloons for her to shoot at, which is a bit more fun that a standard target. The only thing I did not like about the Henry is that the trigger is a bit rough.
