tech sight for sks

I have a 51 tula that I am thinking of putting tech sights on. Any pros or cons in doing this. What are your thoughts?

My thoughts, do it, longer sight radius, better sight picture, seems like a perfect plan to me.

I intend to build sks rifles for all my kids, tech sights will be on each rifle.

The only con is it takes longer to take down.
Another pro is that the standard sks weighs about 9 lbs. Adding a Mount and optics will bring it to well over ten.
The peep sight though adds almost nothing. Retains zero perfectly between takedowns. Dont forget the aperture kit.
