tech sight S2000 install question for those that did it already...

Bc tactical mount went well, now to my next sks...and the tech sight S2000


What did you do to remove the receiver take down bolt pin?

The options I have come up with have been to file it off - thus destroying it for future use (as it will no longer lock in place).

Some have said to "punch it out" and I have tried, and I think I have a better chance of punching out Mike Tyson than I do that small little pin.

I'm interested in preserving the ability to bring it 100% back to stock.
 
well if it wont punch out file it off and then drill it and insert a new pin where you could find such a thing i have no clue.
 
I was in the same boat and ground mine off with a dremel, the sight is such a huge improvement I dont want to go back anyways. You could always drill and put a small roll pin in if you did though.
