tell me about hi power sights

So getting a hi-power practical and need to know some things,

- gun comes with fixed sights, now are there aftermarket front sight blades available for this in different sight heght's, or is it like a glock and you put different rear sight heights on ? I prefer to leave it fixed sights, just want my poi/poa to be the same at the 25 yd line.

- does anyone make a sight tool to put on and remove the front and rear sights or is it just hammer and brass till they come off ?

You can buy a sight tool for about $130USD or you can use a hammer and brass or aluminium punch.

As for the sight height, you can tailor the load to the sights.
 
Forgot to add that my sight tool came from Brownells.

Look in the Brownells catalogue to see the different sight height's (usually the front sight). The BIG problem is that with some of them, you will have to mill the dovetail.
 
All my three HP's shot to point of impact with the target on top of the sight picture with only minor drifting of the rear sight.
I don't like the big white bar on the fromt sight. It's not alway centred and it detracts your attention when lining up.
Get ARWEN ACE to set you up with some nice Novaks.
