So ive borrowed a Sako Vixen in .223 from my father in law for popping some coyotes/wolves this winter, and was wondering what you guys can tell me about them?

Anything specific I should know? Quirks, problems, or are they the best thing to ever come out from Sako?

In the non-varmint barrel they are very sweet little rifles. I passed on one a few years ago and still regret it but made up for it with a Model 75 in .223. :)

Saber if it is a Vixen it will say so on the barrel, if it doesn't it could be a Rhimaki or a newer A1.
Bottom line, great shooting, nice handling rifles. FS

they are the best standard production rifles that were ever chambered in the .222 and .223 cartridges IMO. I have one in .222, it is a classic and very accurate rifle.

Here's mine in .222. It's the most accurate rifle I have owned, plus one of the nicest looking IMHO.
