Lets say you have 3 TC barrels, different cals, and all were zero'd with the scopes left on.

Really, when you switch barrels from one to another, do they hold zero? If not, then how close?

Just wondering what kind of performance should be expected, once I get into it.

Just took the scope off of my 25-06 and put it on a 300 win mag barrel and it was just one inch left. I was really surprized how close it was. Have barrels in 22-250, 243 win,25-06 and 300 win mag, All will shoot 5 shot groups into 3/4 inch without any trouble. I am using leupold quick release rings.

holding zero is not a problem as the scope never leaves the barrel .the thing to me is my buddy got a new prohunter in 50cal i got a cva wolf in 50 cal the same day .we went to the range and shot them in .to are suprise the cva shot just as good at 100 yards as his pro hunter did .and for 1000$ less he was not very happy about this .to beat all he had a 500$ scope on the pro hunter and all i had was a 100 bushnell .needless to say he sold the prohunter DUTCH

I had a Prohunter with .50 Cal, .7mm Mag and .375 H+H.

I had it for a while and it was "neat". After the novelty wore off I sold it. Bought a Blaser. Similar concept, far superior execution. Far more accurate, better barrels, and a magazine. And 3 pounds lighter.... Now I paid for that, but it was worth it. The Blaser scopes are removable from the barrels, and I've never lost zero with one, even taking it on and off over and over. Can't say that between barrel swaps on the prohunter.

Synopsis: "Neat" gun. Overly heavy, but accurate if you leave the barrels on.

The heavy was the thing that really bothered me. You carry a gun 99.9% of the time while hunting and shoot it less that .01%. Whats important?

I've done it a few times with mine. I have .223, .243 and 7mm Rem Mag barrels for it. They are not dead on after a change, a couple of inches max. I would certainly take a couple of check shots before hunting after a barrel change. It has to do with the pivot pins and manufacturing tolerances. I find that the Bellm 1X pin is keeping the groups closer after barrel changes for sure.
