Ignore the mount/adaptor its just for proof of concept and the actual one will sit slightly lower so the top of the stock is inline with the reciever cover. Use of irons is a go and when in the folded positoin the cocking handle is free to move.

Right now its just an idea that I want to gauge interest in so let me know waht you think.

I guess I will risk saying my opinion ! :evil:

If you want an honest answer, to me its like installing a bumper from a ready mix truck on a ferrari something does not seem to belong there!. Maybe a bit too bulky for this gun ????

But this is only my two cents !

dont exaggerate , i see no ready mix truck .:D

maybe a sierra truck back bumper bolted to a car . :D

needs to make the front of the butt smaller some how .

I've been thinking this too but the g36 stock really doesn't have the room for that. It is mounted highter in the pics then i would be in final installation.I'm still on the fence with this one.

how is it attached to the back of the vz receiver?
 
just with a piece of wood. If I do go for it it will be attached with the same kind of screw as the factory folder.
 
Good idea but it dose seem a little to bulky. It does look a little ou of place, if it feels good for you then do it. .........Keep the ideas comming.
 
Yea I know. Its just that the G36 stock is so comfortable and versatile. I'm gonna try and make it work. I think I can make an adaptor that cups the back of the reciever like the skeleton style stock.
 
1. Infratek's prices are out to lunch.

2. One of the great things about the G36 stock is the size of the butt.

3. Yes it woud fold, the prototype however does not.
