Tell Mr About The 6.5 PRC Please

It’s all about seeing the splash downrange. If I actually wanted to shoot very long range regularly I would probably go 300 Norma or PRC. I have a 300PRC. 7 PRC will do it ballisticly, but a 250 will make a bigger splash than a 190.

My 6.5 PRC with 143 ELDX drops 251" at 1000 yards which is 24.1 MOA or 7.0 MIL my 7 PRC drops slightly less with the 175 ELDX 233" at 1000 yards which is 22.2 MOA or 6.5 MIL just for comparison my 6mm CM with 108 ELDM drops 273" which is 26.2 MOA or 7.6 MIL, it's just a couple more clicks on the dial

My 6.5 PRC will shoot tiny little bug holes when I do my job, the target on the plate is 5 shots at 724 yards and both targets were with factory Hornady 143gr ELDX precision hunter ammo out of a Christensen Arms Mesa long range, NF NX8 scope, I have yet to get a load that shoots that good YET

Sorry the pic of the plate is sideways the bullet splashes are actually about 4" high
