Tried to fix up a .22 telly airgun for my neighbour, fitted a new piston seal that seems tight enough, along with adding some jbweld to the breech to add an oring seal.
The original was a slanted leather piece that I'd never find a replacement for.
Now, I think with these two additions that it should seal enough to give a half decent wack, but I'm not seeing a whole lot out of it.
To my point...
Is there a mainspring out there that'll replace the original two spring set up?
