Temp scope on a 300 Ultra

Well, i just managed to satisfy my gun whoring by brokering a trade for a 300 RUM. Problem is, with Christmas upon us, i cant see myself having the scratch for new optics for at least a short while, and i have a problem staring at guns in my possesion that i haven't fired. I have 2 spare scopes sitting around, one being a bushnell 3200 4-12x40, the other a baush and lomb 3000 in 3-9x40. Which do you think i should mount, and do you think the ultra will knock the guts out of either one?

I have several of the 4-12 3200 scopes and I much prefer them specially for shooting at the range. FS

I put a 10x 3200 on my 300 RUM 700P as a temporary measure, and that was a couple of years ago. They are suprisingly well built scopes for the money. - dan

I have that exact Bushnell 3200 4-12x40 on my Rem 700 SPS in 300 RUM, and so far so good. They're both good scopes, but my next one will be a Bushnell 4200 - worth the extra $ IMO.

I am pretty sure when money allows, this one will wear a 6500 or a VX3

i put my 6.5 to 20 nikon on my 300 rum . works excellent .
