To his benefit he did say he was at the 1000 yard range, not shooting at 1000 yd. He may have 900 yards of clear space behind him while doing a walk-back.

Yes the trees outside of the scope to the left side is ~100 yds. Scope reticle is 1000.

Ahole, lol, no, the trees on the side are 100 yard mark and the scope is 1000. Was looking at my recent posts looking for 41 dies and found this and thought I would clear up the commentary. Anyone familiar with the range knows. Not sure why all the negative comments, pretty cool looking at deer at 1000 at the shooting range on the back stop. Thought it made a cool pic. Nightforce scope at 22X. If you are around the area feel free to let me know, we can meet up and I can show you in person - or anyone else that would like to meet up! To the guy that was interested in the last time we were there and watched us get my friends 7mm on at 1000 - you are welcome to shoot my 338 or 260 next time we are there.

I’ve been to this range. The bison is at 1000 yards. It is placed down a narrowish path which is why the pic looks the way it is.

100 yards to trees outside the scope and 1000 through the scope
