Has anyone tried this ammo?

is this a good value for 9 mm handgun casual paper target shooting?

$399.99 for 1500 Rounds (free shipping if you spend over $600 I think) = 26.6 cents / round

It "looks" like the same stuff that SFRC was selling for around $0.26/ round back in the fall.

"When" it goes bang, it shoots like any cheap bulk ammo. It is the ONLY ammo i have tried (and i have tried a bunch of different cheap crap in my guns for practice) that i get light strikes in my Glock, which eats everything else i have tossed down it's throat.

I brought a 1000 rounds to the range one day, managed to shoot off about 500 rounds. LOTS of live rounds dumped on the ground doing malfunction drills (sometimes the entire mag). My one buddy had somewhat better results in his Sig 226, sometimes the second strike capability is a good thing. Another buddy bought 500 at the same time, ran some in his Alfa Proj. They all went bang, but had trouble loading the moon clips, rim seemed out of spec. He reloads, but tossed all the brass from them. He had light strikes in his Glock as well.

YMMV, and i can't say for sure this is the same stuff, lots of variation even between ammo lots. I know there's some reports on the Internet about some Sumbro being really loaded hot, that i did not experience. Seemed normal enough in that regard.

I got them as soon as Tenda started to offer them. Good deal for plinking. I experienced light primer strike on a few out of the 500 rds I shot so far but then I was using a 2lb striker spring on my Glock17 (never had light primer strike on all the CCI though). Even there are a few with problem I would say it is still cheap range ammo... just don't use them for competition ;)
