Tenda Price Match on Handguns

There is no such thing as being entitled to score a deal. Buy somewhere else if an item is really available at a lower place there.

At the bottom of their terms and conditions they have this listed:

“ Best Price Guarantee

If you find a lower advertised price at a competitor’s website with the same item in-stock, Tenda Canada will honor such ad prices on identical merchandise (brand and model) at the time of sale or within 7 days of purchase. Price Match purchase could NOT be paid by discounted gift card purchased from the promotion. We reserve the right to modify the terms of our price match guarantee from time to time.”

I’d hold them to it.

They only match what they want to match.
If they don't want to, they will find excuses like, out of stock, not the same item etc.

Those sound like valid reasons to me, it's even stated in their policy.

One version of the gun could actually cost a lot more to produce than a base version, you can't expect them to match all versions with each other.

I tried and was successful. There rule is that when you call them for price match, that same item must be in stock at the time of calling and you have to provide them with the link with that item

I am talking about exactly the same item, not a different variant. They just use it as an excuse and they refuse to show you their version's product code to proof you are wrong, because it is exactly the same item.

Lol that sounds scummy, if everything matches the publicly advertised pages they should price match it.

What you could do is purchase the item and then immediately match it after purchase within 7 days of purchase as stated in their policy once you collect the gun or get a confirmation that has the info in it.

If they don't honor it after you have proof I'm not sure if you could issue a chargeback because they would be violating the terms of service you agreed to when you bought the item as per the credit card provider agreements.

I had Tenda price match a shotgun and a rifle before. G4C rejected my price match on a rifle recently because they were low on stock so they didn't want to. The thing about these policies is they have the right to refuse, and you have the right to take your business elsewhere.
