Put up a couple of nice photos, friend, and we'll see what we can come up with.
TERNI is the place the critter was built; big national arsenal there for many years.
It SHOULD handle the 6.5x52 Mannlicher-Carcano cartridge, a rimless round that pretty much duplicates the performance of the .30-30 although the 6.5 is MUCH better in bush.
The rifle should load with Mannlicher CLIPS which hold 6 cartridges together. The CLIP and ammunition are loaded into the Magazine as an assembly and the Cartridges feed from the Clips directly into the chamber. The feed-lips are a part of the Clips and the rifle should NOT be loaded without Clips else you are taking a great chance of wrecking the Extractor..... and they are hard to find (and there are 3 separate models, one of them not made since 1912). When the last round is chambered, the Clip drops out of the open bottom of the Magazine and you reload with a fresh Clip. Partly-expended Clips can be ejected through the TOP of the rifle with the bolt open, by pressing the Clip Latch inside the front of the Triggerguard.
Brass and the special .268" bullets are available from Trade-Ex. Friend JP on this forum has CLIPS, bless his heart!
If you can't get brass, you can trim 6.5x54 Mannlicher-Schoenauer casings or, if you have a lathe, you can make it up from .303 Savage or from .220 SWIFT, just being careful to load down if using the heavy Swift brass.
These are solid, tough, lightweight, reliable and accurate little rifles. I have 5 now and that's not enough!
Okay, I showed you mine, now you show me yours: lets have some pics!
Hope this helps.
