A few Swedish mausers
They actually performed exceptionally well for snap shooting and rapid fire. The scoped swedes were reloading manually just as fast as the chaps with stripper clips. Thems some fast fingers laddy... A swede got the second highest score over-all behind a mosin nagant.
The chap that won the match was using a SAKO civil guard marked M91 Nagant. I have never seen a more beautiful example of this rifle than the one used at the range that day. This rifle functioned flawlessly through all courses of fire. Just goes to show what a nagant can do in the hands of someone that knows how to tune & operate one. I would very much like to see what a M10 Ross can do now in a snap shooting or rapid fire situation.
One BSA SMLE with full wood shot in the Sniper category. Yes it was drilled and tapped. Very nice example though.
Addtionally (in the sporter classification) was an 8X56 Austro-Hungary Steyr mannlicher. These things are fast. That straight pull was far faster than a lee enfield. Much more positive extraction as well. Stripper clips functioned well (but are hard to find).
Otherwise the match was dominated by the CNo4Mk1* used by the Canadian Rangers.
