Teslong bore scope problems with android 5.0

Just received a teslong bore scope yesterday,its the 36 inch flexible version. I got the windows/android camera version but am having grief. The android system I am using is version 5.0. Now bear with me as I HATE ANDROID!! I bought a 10 inch Phoenix Hipstreet version with 10 inch screen from wally world a couple of years back just for more portable pics..but anywho..I just get a semi rapid intermittent flash of a pic when the camera is turned on. I downloaded what I believe is the proper app for the bore scope. It tells me to make sure that the OTG is turned on so I downloaded a app for that,ran it and it says that this 5.0 has otg installed. Tried it again and still the semi rapid picture from what I believe is the borescope. So I downloaded another friggen app for the OTG and played with it and still the same crap.

Any one know where I could check the original system and see if its turned on? I am getting lost with this after playing with it for 2 hours.
 
I ran into the same problem with mine. Turned out it was a clogged usb port on my phone preventing proper contact. I used a plastic pick and 99% rubbing alcohol to clean it out. Works perfectly now! I think the cable they give with the borescope isn't that good a quality so anything that prevent 100% perfect connection will cause problems.

This is a tablet that has rarely even been out of the box. All I get is a imtermittant blip of a picture for just a split second. I could try it on one of my laptops that is running windows 7 but the tablet is just a nice size to pack around.
