Test it for what?

I test my meat (deer) on the BBQ. I test levels of deliciousness. So far things have been off the charts positive.

If it stinks, don't eat it. If it has bugs on it, don't eat it. Otherwise, it should be fine. Make sure it's cooked properly, too.

I guess you're talking about CWD? As the others have said I test mine on the BBQ. Supposedly there has never been a case of it passed on to humans so we are all trying to be the 1st. Personally I would worry more about store bought meat.
