does anyone have a link/drawing/plans for building a texas star target? I am interested in building one for our club. I have seen videos of them in action but i would like some specifics as to how the plates are attached etc. Any help would be great.

Here's one way the targets can be put on. That's a spring you are seeing around the bottom bolt to cause the target to drop on a successful hit.
For the spinning portion : use a solid bearing connection between star and stand for it.
For a more true (the target falls off the stand completely) I believe it uses springs to hold the targets into a dovetail bracket.. but once you shoot it, it provides enough directional force to prevent the spring from holding it in the loose dovetail bracket and it falls.
