Well if you're a lefty then the ARX is a TRUE 100% ambi carbine which can be switched from right to left in like 30 seconds. But other than that, playing with it at SHOT didn't impress me. The gun is bulky in terms of size and the plastic feels cheap. Beretta dropped the ball long ago when they stopped making the Elite series.

Im surprised as well. Most reviews I have seen or read generally liked the rifle or were at least luke warm to it. This is the first negative review I have seen. Also the first review I have seen where there was any misfires mentioned. Also the first review I have seen complaining about the charging handle as well.

Im still waiting for MAC's official review. He did a first impressions piece 3 months back but he never followed it up yet.

That was my impression after holding one as well - have not shot one though.

The trigger is indeed heavy and it needs a cheek piece badly.

There is accuracy test done by MAC and he got decent accuracy out of it.

I have had high hopes for this rifle. Hopefully the issues get ironed out. I can shoot a heavy trigger so that's not the end all for me. However it sounds like the overall ergonomics are mediocre to bad for actual use. I'm not writing it off yet, but I was definitely expecting more.

It's surprising, because that'd be one of the things that should be easy to get right. I also had high hopes for the this rifle--it'd be nice to have another high-quality black rifle choice.

It really isnt that great of a gun. The body feels more kel-tec than Tavor and the look is just plain ugly.

Well I generally hold off till i play with one, but it seems like this one is a dud, I'd love to shoot it a few times though, maybe ill play with one at the range in a few years...

The review didn't seem that negative to me. The rifle ran fine the second time, accuracy was meh, the charging handle is too short, sights are bad, and trigger was heavy.

I don't like the look of the rifle, but for someone considering it - sights can be changed, hopefully the aftermarket will fix the trigger & charging handle.

The rail moving sideways in MAC's second video is baffling. They couldn't fix that before mass production?
