Yeah baby
Just got back from my town`s rememberance day ceremonies and wanted to say THANK YOU to all you veterans. It`s because of your sacrafices that we can all enjoy our everyday lives as we know them.
Thanks for all you do!

Record turnout at our ceremony including lots of young people, good to see. Remembrance Day Ceremonies are taking a long time to recover after years of lieberal attempts to down play and/or marginalize the incredible sacrifice of Canada's heroes which continues today. Thank you to everyone who has put their life on the line for me and my family

Thanks.

Don't remember where I read this:

Definition of a veteran - Whether active duty, retired, or reserve - is someone who, at one point in his/her life, signed a blank cheque made payable to "The People of Canada", for an amount "up to and including my life."

Can't think of a better way to put it.

By the way......Applebees is offering free dinner to veterns and serving military today only. Had lunch there with my wife today. It was really nice, and the selection to pick from was great. You could even get steak.

I couldnt believe it, almost my whole town was there today, it was very nice to see. I am very proud to be Canadian, and i thank each and everyone of you who served, and made this country what it is, and stands for. :)

I have the right to eat, work as I please, have a family, hunt, own guns, fish, post on here, and everything else I have in life, and I owe this to the enlisted men and women of today and the past. I am thankful every day.

I agree with you all! I am proud of all Canadians who choose to serve. It was a privilege to serve myself. I've been putting off getting those veterans plates for my car long enough! :canadaFlag:

This year's ceremony in Prince George was well-attended under clear sunny skies at our brand new cenotaph. Thanks to all who have served and are serving their country.

Cheers,

Sheldon
