I think the Federal Government has an impact on Swiss Arms. No one is certain what the future holds.
Importer and dealers don't want to be holding the new cost for imported rifles under these conditions.
ie..The 858 rifle and the rcmp rulings

If you are buying new, get it from these guys: Calgary Shooting Centre when they arrive. They have the Swiss trained armourer on the Team and support the product better than any other seller IMO

They also stock allot of accessories too
