Hi,

I was gifted a Beretta 7.65 1935. The slide and trigger are seized up.

I have managed to strip it as far as I can go without removing pins (pic attached).

Wondering if it can be fixed, or is it just a paper weight at this point.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Can't see a mechanical reason. I'd soak it in a penetrant. It is a blowback, so perhaps try tapping on an aluminum or brass rod down the barrel.

Just realized, if I manage to fix it, Given it's a prohib by today's standard, would I even be allowed to keep it??
Or as an inherited antique, is it exempt?

It is most definitely not an antique. Pre-1946 12-6 prohibs could be transferred within a family to someone with a restricted PAL, but I suspect that went out the window when C-21 became law.

Back to freeing it up... After soaking it in a penetrant, the slide could be held in a padded vise, and the frame tapped with a non-marring hammer, piece of wood, etc.
