Hey CGNers,

Just wanted to post about the excellent service I received for a purchase of a Smith and Wesson MP 9. Great Prices, staff, and location at Silverdale-definitely recommend them. Needless to say for someone with a new PAL, I am very happy to have found a home-base where I can make all my purchases from :)

Lucky to have a great shop not too far from the GTA. Even luckier to have it on a huge outdoor range--get to make the most of the visit :) So to all, if your in Southern Ontario-ensure you buy here :)

The quality of this place will make you :dancingbanana: haha

So just wanted to do a short review for my first :)

The Smith and Wesson MP9.

This review is a couple weeks old, as I'm back in the UK but I had some spare time so I thought I would share.

Some background : At the Silverdale Range in Ontario-the best outdoor range:) I'm a relatively new shooter, but I'd gone about 10-15 times in about 4 weeks before getting it. I didn't like the feel of the Glocks i shot (17 and 22) and after I shot a friend's MP9 I immediately took a liking to it. I switched up the grips after these pictures to the larger grip (its default sold with the medium on it already)...Ended up liking Silverdale Range so much that I pretty much immediately bought a membership there-needless to say friendly staff, LANZ is a great shop, and being an outdoor range was a +1.

I plan on making a few purchases when I get back --a plinker: SW MP 15-22 w/ compensator. and some upgrades for the MP9--in particular a laser/flashlight combo addition. I'm pretty happy with the grips (three sizes come with it) so I don't think I'll be making any adjustments to that for now.

All in all I am very happy with the purchase and I recommend everyone to give Lanz a call if you need anything!

TOTALLY FORGOT TO ADD THE RANGE REPORT! haha

Put just over 1200 rounds through it within 2 days and had no jams/misfires etc.
Used MFS 9mm 115g FMJ ammunition only. Very happy that I had no problems :)

Congrats, great choice.
Lanz service is always good, I picked my CZ75B from seth and planning to purchase a S&W M&P 9 for the wife.
 
Good choice, me and the wifey shoot together so it was a good thing the MP9 comes with three grips. Yours should be very happy with the purchase, I offered to buy mine a Walter P22 Pink and she turned it down because she liked the MP9.

I'm picking up a SW MP 15-22 soon off of them too,decided against a tactical shotgun.

If you go to Silverdale, I'll see you there in a week after I get back :)
