If I didn't already have TWO Minis, I'd be looking at this amazing deal.

Total all up for a Mini 14 Ranch Rifle (in wood, SS is sold out) + 1600 rds of 5.56 Norinco + two ammo cans = $1,149.00 !!!

I assume shipping is free as per standard Canada Ammo policy.

And Canadian Tactical Cowboy Supplies has a shipment of Ruger factory mags in as well. Perfect timing (or, um, perfect union :)

Ruger Mini 14 Ranch Rifle (wood stock) for $699 + 1600 rds of surplus 5.56 NATO brass for (gulp!) $409 + another $40 or so for two ammo cans.

Pinch me, I must be dreaming!!

Perspective on the bargain ammo price: In July 2011, when Canada Ammo first scored that Norinco 5.56 ammo, their introductory pricing for a 1600rd case was $679. Folks that was just last year!

This current deal works out to less than 26 cents a round with a brand new $700 Mini 14 to boot! That's no turkey.

Did I mention that shipping is FREE?

I decided that if nobody was going to snag that deal then I might as well pick up the wood model since both of my Minis are synthetic. Although the page said "in stock" through the whole ordering process, when I went to confirm the order after the payment option selection, OUT OF STOCK suddenly appeared.

You must have beat me to it somehow. :D

Turns out only one wood and one synthetic rifle were offered up yesterday!

Glad to see it go to a good home.

If you're looking for factory 20rd mags -- more reliable than the 30rders -- give the lads at Canadian Tactical Cowboy Supplies a shout. It looks like they still have some in stock from the order they got in last week. http://ctcsupplies.ca/products/ruger-mini-14-20-5-round-magazines Expensive, but definitely the best mags for your new Mini.
