i am tired of that pin falling out. the replacement screws i found lock so-so. what did you guys do to replace that pin?

i was thinking of tapping the receiver on both sides and just running a small flathead socket screw from both sides.

P0WERWAGON PM me with your phone # I'll come by and fix it up for ya but it will cost ya a cup of coffee ;)

Are we talking about an original stock pin? Or is this trouble from an aftermarket lower handgaurd? If problem with stock model, is it a CZ or a CSA problem?

happens to the original from tapping it out my cz 858 did it. kept creeping back out until i replaced it. it was good until i went from stock handguard to fab defense and then worse after i had my nea lower handguard on it. the roll pin fixed it up.

ps lordco also a good source of roll pins ... but ask for split spring pins they are better.

There is a little peice of metal thats suppose to pinch the pin in place to stop it from falling out. You will probably notice that your lower hand guard can be moved back and forward even though its in place. Well then that metal piece isn't pinching the pin in place properly. All I did was eat a stick of Stride Spearmint gum, and shoved the wrapper inside the hand guard on the side closest to the gas port. Now the lower hand guard is tights, and the pin never falls out. ( I always like taking the lower hand guard off when I clean my Vz.)
