Your stock being able to fold like this, does this turn it into a restricted weapon? The reason I ask, is I put a foldable stock on my sks, and I do want to try deer hunting with my sks but do not want to if it breaks the law. Very nice stock

Hopefully you only painted it because you hunt, and the reflective surface would have spoiled some hunts..

i have a doner action, krieger r5 barrel all sand blasted... with that aluma tub, i am going to make the worlds ugliest aluma rifle !!!!
 
Gotta say it's a pretty sweet piece of equipment you have there. What are the guts made of and what kind of scope are you using if you don't mind me asking?

I'm working on that... hoping to end up with a good solid design worth manufacturing and getting it out around 500-600cad in a few months.

Overall its harder to hit those prices in Canada because of much smaller market and higher costs of doing business. Machines and tooling for machine shops is 20-50% less expensive in the US, their material is also often a bit cheaper as well.
