The 350 Mashburn

Full-length 375 H&H blown out with a 30 degree shoulder. Or essentially a 8mm Rem Mag necked up to 35 cal. I imagine you'd get 340 Wby velocities for each bullet weight if you stayed at sane pressures. Nothing real special. If I wanted a hot 35 cal in a long action, I'd rather put the effort and cost into a 338 RUM necked up of a 375 RUM necked down.

I think it has a very cool name... 350 MASHBURN.... MASH AND BURN BABY!
Art Mashburn was quite an experimenter - his name and work just didn't stick as well as folks like Ackley. I think Mashburn wildcatted everything from the 218 Bee to the .404 Jeffrey. In his time, his wildcats were reasonably popular with shooting affectionados.

I've got a couple of his creations, a 218 Mashburn Bee in a small frame Martini action, and a 350 Mashburn Super mag built on a Rem. 700 action.:D

Mashburn Arms was a really good Oklahoma Arms dealer here in Oklahoma, then things petered out on Penn BLVD ! He moved his shop then his prices(and location)street allways under constructioin forced him out of bussiness!

We have another business owned by a big Arms supplyer(OutDoor America)this guy is responcible for most of the Blue Sky imports (M1 and M1Carbines)
but has basicaly been fubared by the internet!

It's hard to sell #### at twice the cost that on can do on the Internet!
