fellas! wish I could work out a way to post photos!
had an absolute unbelievable Birthday hunt on Tuesday, 1st Aug.
long story short, for now- ill post the hunt report when I get a photo account soon-

left the vehicle before light, shot a spike at 11:30, went to top of hill, had lunch, bumped a brute stag, followed it cat an mouse, found it shot it, 10 inch coronets , 29 1/2 inches long, mature as and funnily enough, on my 29th Birthday!!
got back to the vehicle at 2n a half hours after dark, sooo many blackberrys, pics will explain..sorry!!!

255gr Geco factory Soft point things, Pancakes we'll refer to them as... but the energy in them is putting the smack down, both shots were inside 60meters , both behind the front leg-2 rib back area..

Yeah mate I think I'm with you on the Geco , referring to them as a pancake but I'm yet too see one, both times the bullet has done just enough, of what it needed too, I'm thinking it may well have come to pieces inside!
i'll dig one out when it falls in an easier location and time is on my side.
