Well, he presents a LOT of nice bs that sounds great. Lol, comparing it to 308 and saying that 85% kill rate at 800 yards compared to 308 at 50% kill rate. LOL.
Own the optic and that rifle and you become an instant sniper. Well within an hour anyways. Okay. I'd like to see that.
I had my wife out at the range a few weeks ago, with her 7mm-08, Adirondack, 18" pencil barrel, looking thru a bushnell LRTS scope. She has shot very little, and never at longer than 100 yards. With in minutes she was shooting 3" groups at 450 yards. Even put a few rounds onto the gong at 900 yards. She has never shot that far before. But I guess she is an instant sniper now. Well, I did have to play with the ammo, and the scope ahead of time and set it up so she could do that, but it really is not that much work. In fact I have several rifles that I can do that with now, and 2 of them are bone stock. I have my teens out to 650 yards on a regular basis. Sure puts big smiles on their faces to shoot at those distances and hear the gong smack and see it swing. I guess we have sniper blood in the family!
6.5-55 I believe Swede. Very popular round in Europe, but not so much here. Slowly becoming more popular, but not so quickly in the west. Compared to the 6.5 PRC, but mostly resembles the 6.5 creed.
