Bought this for 100$, took me half hour to remove all pitting and finished up with cold gun blue. It turn out to be okay. Can't wait to shot it and the bore is in pristine condition.
Here are a couple of pics of my BSA's. I have a MK3 and a MK4 ISU.
Also have an Anschutz 54 Match, a Valmet Standard 'Finnish Lion' and a Walther UIT Match. I haven't even shot the Walther yet - it came to me with a massively shortened buttstock, so I am refinishing it and adding an adjustable plate to get the LOP back to where I need it.
So far, the 54 and the MK3 are the most accurate, with the MK3 being the most enjoyable to shoot, but I have high hopes for the Walther. The Valmet has been sent off to be bedded and re-crowned, and I expect its accuracy to be improved when it comes home. I love these vintage European match rifles!
I have Husqvarna Model 1722 .22lr.
It has taken quite a bit of work to get it where it is today.
Originak stock was painted some horrid forest green with red splotches and there was a lot of rust.
But, with some elbow grease and patience, it looks pretty cool, methinks.
It will run with any anchutz or cz rifle out there.
I knew there was some pretty lumber in there . This is a Krico I posted a couple pages back
