Say your at the range and your giving it pig (with those long firing 5 round mags) and youve got an SBR.. I have heard from alot of posts on ArF.com that the AR runs best when its wet with lube.. even wet and dirty is better than not wet. My question is, can you just spray abit of CLP directly onto the bolt side without removing the bolt or carrier or dissasembling and just keep on going? This wont replace a takedown and cleaning just keeping it wet so that it doesnt cook on a 10.5 incher. Does this sound right place to lube it? Any other areas? I have two types of CLP..old stuff in a bottle and new aerosol type..which is best? I take it avoid getting any near mags or feed ramps right? Thanks for any info.
