To me though the CSA Carbine looks to be shorter than the FSN-01 K. However they appear to have the same length of handguard. Anyone out there have a matching set:D and could comment on what the difference in barrels between the two?

Perhaps the front sight on the CSA Carbine takes up the extra length for instance?

If the pic of the FSN didn't have a flash suppressor on it the pics would be easier to compare. The FSN looks shorter by a bit to me.

They both have normal length gas systems and handguards.

If you look at the amount of barrel sticking out past the gas block it looks very similar on both. The muzzle brake/flash suppressor on the the K is deceiving and the front sight base on the carbine gives the illusion of no extra barrel beyond the gas block.

the actual barrel length of the "K" is 11 1/8" and to the FH its 12 1/8" .
