Was it the Pre/64 Mod.70? The Mauser 98 (aka the Win. mod.70)? The Lee Enfield. (lol). Or was it one of the push feeds? Please help me with my next purchase.

for a sub-$1000 factory rifle id say Ruger.
combines the best of both classic design with new materials and innovations, and seems to be improving their quality over the past couple of decades as opposed to the steady decline of quality seen in most other big manufacturers.

I just got a Kimber that I'm liking alot....... CRF, 3 pos safety, all steel, nice trigger, very smooth.

I also have a BRNO 6oo that is very nice, but not as smooth as the Kimber.

Depends in the trench's with the mud, I would like a Lee Enfield. In africa, a Holland and Holland would do nicely thanks!:D

In the woods of the North, it's whatever will be working best for you!

Varmit hunting on the middle plain's I dunno.

What about going for that once in a lifetime hunt for bighorn sheep in Colorado,or Thinhorn Sheep above Atlin in northern BC? If the climd dosen't kill you, getting back down will!

So many different choices, so may possible rifles!

All of the above are, but if you squeezed me into a corner I would probably go for a Win. pre64 M70, I assume we are talking hunting guns, right!

This would explain your user name.:D

I like the rem 700, never fails.

Nice Burn! (For the record, I'd have to admit that even if it was me being burned)

All it takes is one good 98 to have you be a CRF believer...
That being said, I love the Mark V, and pretty much anything that's not Remington.

sako are good but i love winchester model 70s have had a few of them and they wont be the last love the way they look and talk about accurate, i like savage aswell.
