the best BUIS MATECH USGI where can i find one? Brownells wont ship it because its over $100 is there a Canadian dealer who can get it ?

Bcviking, is there a companion rail mounted front sight that goes with this? I've been debating putting open sights on my AR but haven't seen any I like until I saw your post. Thanks for making me aware of these by the way.
 
Ordered one from Ebay ,hotbuys4oru, last week - Back Up Iron Sight (BUIS) new (260693578265) .
Product # was same as USGI NSN 1005-01-484-8000
However-
Will see if is the MAGTECH USGI when it arrives.

not sure if they make a matching front sight , check the matech website
 
There are better options. I had one and hated it. Sucks IMHO. Who needs a 600m BACKUP SIGHT??? It's flimsy and feels cheap. Yes, it was real... Not airsoft.

If you try a TROY, you'll never go back to anything else.

I only like to shoot irons lately on my 20 inch H-bar i like the challenge if you use optics all the time your iron sight skills go to #### .. this sight is a match grade iron is not as much of a backup as a primary sight, i have read great reviews on it ..

Sight arrived today.
It is a marked 3DB52 on the base. It is a USGI contract BUIS made by Designwest Aratech of Tustin CA.

Same. The method of retaining the aiming post under spring pressure is just a little nub. Not the best design out there. Mine was new in the NSN labeled package straight from the US supply system overseas. Go with a Knight's or Troy.

If you're planning on shooting with nothing but irons then why don't you buy a carry handle?
