thanks for the tip but i think your scope is too far back , give it a try .

my posp scope 6x24 came from east wave base in ontario but the scope was shipped from balarus , it arrived in a week and a half, thats is fast .
i decided to go small scope cos the cz858 isnt that big so it would look more appropiate size. cost me $160 w/ rail shipped.

You know your right, It was feeling too far back. So instead of going to the range I made a new mount, bringing it 1 1/4" forward. Painted it with ceramic engine paint now have to wait an hour and a half till it cures at 400degrees in the toaster oven.:) I got my scope and mount from Eastwave also. Shipping was fast.

can you post some pic of your new set-up ?
 
Nice setup with the Warsaw Pact style side mounts. I'd like to try something like this also. I understand the side clamps come in two styles, SKS/SVD and AK. Is either one better than the other? The universal rail offered by Eastwave will accomodate both of these.
